Hotel Nacional along the Malecon. I was never sure if this was in
Central Havana or Vedado section of city. The hotel was reportedly
built by the U.S. Mafia (Meyer Lansky). It's now a favorite of tourists.
It has a wonderful "50's feel" and Arnold Schwartzeneger stays here
when he makes a cigar run to Havana. I.E. it's a trendy joint for visiting
celebs & dignitaries. As famous a hotel and landmark as Havana has
to offer.
