This gentleman's full name was Hermenegildo Arencibia Grinan. I called him WILKIE. Go figure. He and his wife could be seen at local restaurants visiting with tourists and acting the role of "the dancing duo". Wilkie had a pretty good idea of what tourists thought the "quintessential Cuban" should look like and he cultivated that look as did his wife. I realized early on he was a visual cliche but he was absolutely superb at it. I photographed him at every opportunity and I won't apologize for it. He had a great look and attitude.
