Part of Havana's charm--all the old American cars still chugging along.
Many, like this old Chevy station wagon, are used as taxis. It is
estimated that there are 400,000 vintage American cars all over
Cuba. Roughly a quarter of those are in Havana. The Soviets tried
to introduce their Ladas in Cuba but they never caught the fancy
of the average Cuban like the American classics.
