This distinguished looking gentleman ran an art gallery in
Habana Vieja. He told me he was also a painter. As, I mentioned
in another cutline--art, particularly original paintings, are a
great value in Cuba. It takes some effort to find the nice
stuff but it's worth the effort. I was very impressed with
Cuban culture in terms of the fine arts-painting, sculpture,
music, dance, etc.
