Original art for sale at the open air market in Old Havana. There are
open air markets open daily all over Havana. There are some
wonderful artists in Cuba (quite a few bad ones too). Anyway, I felt
"art" was one of the best values in Havana. If you took the time to
search out the exceptional work at markets and small galleries you
could purchase wonderful original oils on canvas for $50-$200. Also
lots of lithography, printmaking, etc. at great prices. Customs in the
United States does not charge duty on art pieces as I understand.
